Accordingly, the Plan strives to achieve the target of an average growth rate of goods exports of 8 - 9%/year in the 2021 - 2030 period, of which in the 2021 - 2025 period, the average export growth is 9 - 10%/year, and in the 2026 - 2030 period, the annual average growth is 7 - 8%.
The average growth rate of goods imports is 7 - 8%/year in the 2021 - 2030 period, of which the 2021 - 2025 period, the average import growth is 8 - 9%/year, in the 2026 - 2030 period, and the average growth is 5 - 6% /year.
At the same time, implementing the balance of trade in the 2021 - 2025 period, moving towards maintaining a sustainable trade surplus in the 2026 - 2030 period; aiming for a healthy and reasonable balance of trade with key trading partners, expanding markets in countries that have signed bilateral and multilateral trade agreements; striving by 2030, some of the province's exported goods will be available in traditional and online distribution chains in all countries that have free trade agreements (FTAs) with Viet Nam.
The Department of Industry and Trade coordinates with departments, committees and branches to restructure industries associated with digital transformation, especially in processing and manufacturing industries to create a breakthrough and new driving force for production and export; encourage the development of basic industries, supporting industries, and high-tech, environmentally friendly industries to increase the localization rate, technological content, environmental friendliness, and improve added value and product quality, meeting international standards.
At the same time, effectively implementing the plan to restructure the Agriculture sector associated with digital transformation, developing the digital economy, and developing green, clean, and sustainable production. Creating a favorable investment and business environment for enterprises; encouraging the application of science and technology in production, business and enterprise management activities; improving competitiveness for export enterprises; strengthening the effective implementation of trade promotion, domestic and international product introduction, and organize trade connection activities with foreign distribution networks; promoting propaganda activities to raise awareness of Vietnamese enterprises about digital transformation and cross-border e-commerce, especially with agricultural products, food, wood products, and furniture, etc.
