Specifically, 54/63 provinces and cities have organized face-to-face learning for all preschool children; 59/63 provinces and cities allow primary school students for face-to-face learning; 63/63 provinces and cities allow secondary and high school students for face-to-face learning; 100% of higher education institutions have plans to organize face-to-face teaching.

The Deputy Prime Minister requested localities and educational institutions to actively develop pandemic prevention and control plans and flexible school year plans, suitable to the actual situation.

In the coming time, the Deputy Prime Minister noted that it is necessary to continue implementing the vaccination plan for children from 5 to under 12 years old according to the orientation of the Ministry of Health; control the rate of infection in schools, have a reasonable plan to handle infections, F1, especially continuously update treatment guidelines, etc. The Ministry of Health soon issues guidelines on testing in schools; monitoring the health of children with underlying diseases or health problems; home quarantine period for children who are F1; boarding school, etc.
Binh Duong has
implemented step by step for face-to-face learning of students in accordance
with the pandemic level in the locality. From February 07, 2022 (after the Nham
Dan Lunar New Year), educational institutions from preschool to secondary
school in Binh Duong province have organized face-to-face teaching combined
with online. Before that, students of high school and 9th grade went
back to face-to-face learning; preschools and primary schools have piloted it
in stages.
Regarding the
Covid-19 prevention and control in schools, the Department of E&T has fully
grasped and fully implemented the directions of the Government, the Ministry of
E&T, the Ministry of Health and the province; closely coordinated with the
Department of Health to implement pandemic prevention solutions at educational
institutions. Specifically, establishing and strengthening the Steering
Committee for Covid-19 prevention and control, assigning specific tasks to each
member. Establishing the unit's Covid-19 Safety Groups. Developing plans and
schemes for Covid-19 prevention and control; plans for handling when there is a
suspected or detected case of F0 in the school. Generating a checkpoint QR code
to perform the management of people entering and leaving the unit and making
health declarations. Strictly implementing the 5K recommendation of the
Ministry of Health. Arranging the area for medical declaration, QR code
scanning; arranging temporary quarantine rooms or areas. Coordinating with
health agencies to organize Covid-19 vaccination and SARS-CoV-2 screening test
for teachers and students. The rate of teachers getting the 3rd dose
is 99.97%; 99.99% of students in secondary schools, high schools and Centers
for Vocational Education - Continuing Education (from 12 to 18 years old) have
received 02 primary doses of vaccine.
