As reported by the Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs,
the province currently has 22 public vocational education (VE) institutions,
accounting for 20.4% of VE institutions in the province. In which, there are 03
colleges, 04 intermediate schools managed by the locality. Public training
institutions basically perform well their assigned functions and tasks,
contributing to training, improving the quality of human resources and creating
jobs in the locality.

However, the training in public schools and VE institutions still faces many difficulties and problems that need to be resolved. At the meeting, the public VE institutes proposed and suggested the Provincial People's Committee to consider issues related to the financial autonomy of schools, the shortage of vocational teachers; investment in facilities and equipment for public VE institutes to achieve high-quality schools, schools with key occupations to improve training quality; at the same time, pay attention to training local traditional crafts in order to maintain, keep, preserve and promote the cultural identity of Binh Duong in the period of integration and development. Along with that, creating an open mechanism and beneficial policies for enterprises to cooperate and accompany schools to solve the problem of improving the quality of vocational education, creating sustainable jobs and improving skills for workers, meeting the requirements of developing highly skilled human resources for the cause of industrialization and modernization of the country.

Concluding the meeting, Mr. Nguyen Loc Ha asked the relevant departments and branches to focus on reviewing the difficulties and problems proposed by the schools. Contents falling under the jurisdiction of the province must be resolved quickly. Investment in facilities is necessary, so in the coming time, schools must develop specific projects. Relevant departments and branches must closely follow and coordinate with schools in enrollment. The province will have specific working sessions with schools on proposals, suggestions and solve each request set by the schools, so that the training of human resources in the province is better, meeting the labor needs of the province.
