In the past 24 hours, Binh Duong recorded 3,563 new cases of Covid-19, down 968 cases compared to September 09, 2021. In which, the number of cases is concentrated in the lockdown areas with 2,520 cases (accounting for 70.7%), the detection rate through community screening is 666 cases (accounting for 18.7%). There are 278 cases through PCR confirmatory results at temporary quarantine areas (accounting for 7.8%) and 99 cases at medical facilities (accounting for 2.8%).
During the day, implementing collection and treatment for 2,765 patients, 55 cases died (in which 14 additional patients died before). Currently, Covid-19 treatment facilities in the province are treating 5,1447 patients.
Since the 4th pandemic wave, Binh Duong province has recorded 149,859 cases of Covid-19; 1,301 patients died.
The province has 40,577 people under concentrated quarantine and 4,377 F0 patients are quarantined at home; there are 1,216 lockdown areas with 118,741 people in the lockdown areas.
Binh Duong deployed large-scale sampling for testing phase 2 and 3 (from August 02, 2021) by rapid test and PCR for 4,334,158 people, the result was 102,509 positive cases (rate of 2.37%). Taking PCR samples for 132,768 workers at 163 companies in industrial parks, had 389 positive cases.
Cumulatively, the province recorded 1,630,950 doses vaccinated (1,583,219 1st doses and 47,731 2nd doses). The province has basically completed injections of nearly 1 million doses of Sinopharm's Vero Cell vaccine that have been allocated.
From September 10-11, 2021, Binh Duong deployed 156,000 doses of AstraZeneca vaccine to subjects: No 1st dose injected yet; having received the 1st dose and enough time to receive the 2nd dose (from 8-12 weeks); pregnant women over 13 weeks and breastfeeding mothers.
On September 10, 2021, the province provided support for 12,019 cases, with an amount of 14,648 billion VND. In which:
- Supporting employees who temporarily suspend labor contracts or take unpaid leave for 664 people with the amount of 2,539 billion VND (additional support for 206 cases of pregnancy, raising children under 6 years old);
- Supporting food expenses for 3,692 people who are F0, F1 with the amount of 295.36 million VND;
- Supporting for 213 business households with the amount of 639 million VND;
- Supporting for 7,450 people who are employees without labor contracts with the amount of 11,175 billion VND.
Up to now, Binh Duong has 5 localities that have announced green zones and loosened social distancing, including: Thu Dau Mot City, Dau Tieng, Bau Bang, Phu Giao and Bac Tan Uyen districts. It is expected that on September 14, 2021, Ben Cat Town will announce the green zone. Thuan An city with An Son commune has returned to the new normal since September 10. Tan Uyen town has 6 green zone communes and wards, 1 orange zone and 5 red zones. Striving to September 15, 2021, 91 communes, wards and towns in the province will return to the new normal.
