In which, the infected cases were mainly found in blockade areas with 2,270 cases (accounting for 66%), through community screening tests with 751 cases (accounting for 23.9%); 258 cases were detected at medical facilities (accounting for 7.5%) and 161 cases were confirmed by PCR in the temporary isolation ward (accounting for 4.7%)
By residential area, Tan Uyen Town had 1,254 cases, Ben Cat Town had 880 cases, Thuan An City had 820 cases, Di An City had 288 cases, Thu Dau Mot City had 121 cases, Bau Bang District had 45 cases, Bac Tan Uyen District had 10 cases, Phu Giao District had 03 cases, Dau Tieng District had 01 cases, and 18 cases were outside the province. Thus, compared with August 31, 2021, the localities with a decrease in the number of cases are Thuan An, Di An, Thu Dau Mot, Bau Bang, Bac Tan Uyen, Phu Giao, and Dau Tieng.

On September 1, 2021, Binh Duong had 2,703 patients discharged, bringing the total number of discharged patients from the 4th outbreak to 62,672.
During the day, 4,856 patients have been treated, 39 deaths occurred. Currently, Covid-19 treatment facilities in the province are treating 55,013 patients.
Since the 4th outbreak, Binh Duong province has recorded 118,228 cases of Covid-19; 897 patients died.
The whole province has 43,333 people under concentrated isolation; 9,994 F0 cases are isolated at home. There are 1,354 blockade areas with 126,002 people.
From August 02, 2021, Binh Duong has proceeded the large-scale testing in the 2nd and 3rd phase through rapid testing and PCR testing for 2,660,178 people. According to the results, 66,314 cases were found positive. PCR samples were taken for 123,429 workers of 137 companies, 327 cases were found positive.
Cumulatively, the whole province reported that 991,841 doses of vaccine were injected (947,321 1st doses and 44,520 2nd doses). The province is injecting 1 million doses of Sinopharm's Vero Cell vaccine that have been allocated.
In the coming time, Binh Duong will deploy a new method in large-scale testing. Accordingly, people take their own samples for testing at home under the supervision of medical staff. When sampling a large area, the RT-PCR pooled sampling method will be used to gradually replace the rapid test to ensure accuracy.
Distribution of daily cases by locality on September 1
On September 1, 2021, the province provided support for 154,781 cases, with a total amount of VND 68.964 billion. Including:
- Support the subjects according to Resolution No. 68/ND-CP:
· Support 770 employees who suspended labor contracts or left unpaid with the amount of VND 1.672 billion (additional support for 129 cases of pregnancy and raising children under 6 years old);
· Support workers who stopped working due to the Covid-19 pandemic for 43 people with the amount of VND 43 million;
· Food support for 6,131 people who are F0 and F1 with the amount of VND 851.24 million (including additional support for 13 children);
· Support for 8,380 people who are employees without labor contracts with the amount of VND 12.57 billion;
- Housing rent support for workers staying in accommodation (according to Resolution 04/2021/NQ-HDND) for 77,470 people with the amount of VND 23.241 billion;
- Food support for workers in difficult circumstances who are staying in accommodation (according to Decision 12/2021/QD-UBND) for 61,163 people with the amount of VND 30.581 billion.
