In the last 24 hours, Binh Duong has recorded 6,050 new infected cases. In which, the infected cases were mainly found in blockade areas with 4,120 cases (accounting for 68.1 %), through community screening tests with 1,327 cases (accounting for 21.9%); 503 cases were confirmed by PCR in the temporary isolation ward (accounting for 8.3%) and 100 cases were detected at medical facilities (accounting for 1.7%). The increase in the number of infected cases caN be explained by the large-scale testing in the 2nd and 3rd phase.
By residential area, Thuan An City had 2,217 cases, Di An City had 1,371 cases, Ben Cat Town had 1,139 cases , Tan Uyen Town had 1,062 cases, Thu Dau Mot City had 141 cases, Phu Giao District had 41 cases, Bac Tan Uyen District had 33 cases, Dau Tieng District had 18 cases, Bau Bang District had 04 cases, and 24 cases were outside the province.
Number of infected cases by date of publication
During the day, 1,925 patients have been treated, 39 deaths occurred. Currently, Covid-19 treatment facilities in the province are treating 51,405 patients.
Since the 4th outbreak, Binh Duong province has recorded 11,258 cases of Covid-19; 858 patients died.
The whole province has 42,203 people under concentrated isolation; 10,639 F0 cases are isolated at home. From August 02, 2021, Binh Duong has proceeded the large-scale testing in the 2nd and 3rd phase through rapid and PCR testing for 2,041,097 people. According to the results, 43,574 cases were found positive.
Cumulatively, the whole province recorded to inject 942,111 doses (900,133 1st doses and 41,978 2nd doses).
Distribution of daily cases by locality on August 30
On August 30, 2021, the province provided support for 71,233 cases, with a total amount of VND 43.556 billion. Including:
- Support 462 employees who suspended labor contracts or left unpaid with the amount of VND 957.835 million (additional support for 73 cases of pregnancy and raising children under 6 years old);
- Support 7 workers who stopped working due to the Covid-19 pandemic with the amount of VND 7 million (additional support for 2 cases of pregnancy and raising children under 6 years old);
- Food support for 6,430 people who are F0 and F1 with the amount of VND 971.8 million;
- Support for 14,574 people who are employees without labor contracts with the amount of VND 21.861 billion;
- Housing rent support for workers staying in accommodation for 25,608 people with the amount of VND 7.682 billion;
- Food support for 24,152 workers in difficult circumstances who are staying in accommodation with the amount of VND 12.076 billion.
On August 30, 2021, the Provincial People's Committee adjusted and supplemented the supply of food for people in 11 locked wards of Thuan An City and Tan Uyen Town due to an increase of 115,768 people compared to the original plan. Specifically, additional 868 tons of rice and VND 86 billion 826 million are converted into essential food equivalent to 50,000 VND/person to distribute to the additional people of these 11 wards.
