In the last 24 hours, Binh Duong has recorded 5,414 new infected cases. In which, the infected cases were mainly found in blockade areas with 4,562 cases (accounting for 84.3%), through community screening tests with 648 cases (accounting for 12%); 152 cases were confirmed by PCR in the temporary isolation ward (accounting for 2.8%) and 52 cases were detected at medical facilities (accounting for 1.0%). The increase in the number of infected cases is explained by the large-scale testing in the 2nd and 3rd phase.
By residential areas, Thuan An City had 3,341 cases (increasing by 108.8%); Tan Uyen Town had 854 cases (reducing by 44.9%), Di An City had 699 cases (increasing by 1,084.7%), Ben Cat Town had 310 cases (reducing by 54.6%); Thu Dau Mot City had 169 cases (increasing by 397.1%), Bau Bang District had 27 cases (reducing by 59.7%), Bac Tan Uyen District had 02 cases (reducing by 93.5%), Dau Tieng District had 01 case (0%), Phu Giao District had 01 case (reducing by 94.4%), and 10 cases were outside the province (increasing by 66.7%)
During the day, 2,868 patients had been treated; 31 deaths had occurred. Currently, Covid-19 treatment facilities in the province are treating 22,768 patients, of which the 1st floor has 16,805 patients, the 2nd floor has 4,932 patients and the 3rd floor has 1,031 patients.
Since the 4th outbreak, Binh Duong province has recorded 104,202 cases of Covid-19; 819 patients died.
The whole province has 40,911 people under concentrated isolation; 10,242 F0 cases are isolated at home.
The province is implementing the 25th phase of vaccination with 99,800 doses. Accumulated in the whole province, 906,655 doses have been injected (including: 867,125 1st doses and 39,530 2nd doses).
By August 29, 2021, the province provided support for 2,527,763 cases, with a total amount of VND 1,297.088 billion. Including:
- Support according to Resolution No. 68/NP-CP: 266,070 cases, with the total amount of VND 389.263 billion;
- Housing rent support for workers staying in accommodation for 1,115,106 people with the amount of VND 334.531 billion;
- Food support for 1,146,587 workers in difficult circumstances who are staying in accommodation with the amount of VND 573.293 billion.
At the meeting on August 28, 2021, the Standing Committee of Binh Duong Provincial Party Committee requested all levels of Party committees, local authorities, agencies and units to continue strictly implementing Directive No. 16/CT-TTg of the Prime Minister, manage the distance, strictly blockade until September 15, 2021, associated with the implementation of the plan of 150,000 cases of F0.
