​​In the last 24 hours, Binh Duong has recorded 4,868 new infected cases, increasing by 17.9% compared to August 25, 2021 because the province is proceeding the large-scale testing in the 2^nd and 3^rd phase. In which, the infected cases were mainly found in blockade areas with 2,678 cases (accounting for 55.0%), through community screening tests with 1,803 cases (accounting for 37.0%); 364 cases were confirmed by PCR in the temporary isolation ward (accounting for 7.5%) and 23 cases were detected at medical facilities (accounting for 0.5%).

By residential areas, Tan Uyen Town had 1,363 cases (increasing by 155.7%), Ben Cat Town had 466 cases (increasing by 10.7%); Thuan An City had 1,912 cases (reducing by 3.2%); Di An City had 979 cases (increasing by 14.5%), Thu Dau Mot City had 97 cases (reducing by 37.8%), Bac Tan Uyen District had 44 cases (reducing by 29.0%), Bau Bang District had 01 case (reducing by 98.9%), Phu Giao District had 0 case (reducing by 100%), Dau Tieng District had 03 cases (0%) and 03 cases were outside the province (reducing by 85.0%).

During the day, 2,017 patients had been treated; 46 deaths had occurred. Currently, Covid-19 treatment facilities in the province are treating 16,349 patients, of which the 1^st floor has 13,386 patients, the 2^nd floor has 2,191 patients and the 3^rd floor has 772 patients.

Since the 4^th outbreak, Binh Duong province has recorded 86,050 cases of Covid-19; 716 patients died.

From August 02, 2021, Binh Duong has proceeded the large-scale testing in the 2^nd and 3^rd phase. According to the results, localities collected rapid and PCR test samples for 1,549,913 people, 41,443 cases were found positive; they also conducted to collect PCR samples for 114,172 workers of 130 companies in industrial parks, 323 cases were found positive.

The whole province has 36,920 people under concentrated isolation; 9,715 F0 cases are isolated at home.

On August 20, 2021, Binh Duong conducted the 21^st and 22^nd phase of vaccination, according to the results of Report Software System (recorded at 17:00 on August 26, 2021), 248,191 doses were injected (236,857 1^st doses and 11,334 2^nd doses). Cumulatively, the whole province recorded to inject 801,601 doses (767,020 1^st doses and 34,581 2^nd doses). On August 26, 2021, Binh Duong People's Committee has endorsed the policy for the Department of Health to allocate and inject 99,800 doses of AstraZeneca vaccine in the 25^th phase to the objects as prescribed from August 27-29, 2021.

On August 26, 2021, the province provided support for 307,729 cases, with a total amount of VND 139.279 billion. Including:

- Support 185 employees who suspended labor contracts or unpaid leave with the amount of VND 743.35 million (additional support for 57 cases of pregnancy and raising children under 6 years old);

- Support 45 workers who stopped working due to the Covid-19 pandemic with the amount of VND 47 million (additional support for 2 cases of pregnancy and raising children under 6 years old);

- Food support for 6,030 people who are F0 and F1 with the amount of VND 990 million;

- Support for 8,181 people who are employees without labor contracts with the amount of VND 12.271 billion;

- Housing rent support for workers staying in accommodation for 107,079 people with the amount of VND 32.123 billion;

- Food support for 186,208 workers in difficult circumstances who are staying in accommodation with the amount of VND 93.104 billion.
