By locality, Bau Bang District had 646 cases, Tan Uyen Town had 542 cases, Thu Dau Mot City had 151 cases, Bac Tan Uyen District had 94 cases, Thuan An City had 38 cases, Di An City had 38 cases, Ben Cat Town had 34 cases, Dau Tieng District had 07 cases and other localities had 05 cases.

In the day, 272 more patients recovered, were discharged from hospitals; 35 deaths occurred.
From the 4th epidemic, Binh Duong has recorded 19.413 Covid-19 cases; 1.933 patients have recovered; 129 deaths have occurred.
There are 8,380 patients under treatments (new infected cases are transferred to treatment areas and some F0 cases without symptoms are still at temporary quarantine zones). Among the cases, there are 114 pregnant women; 147 people over 65 years old; 370 people with background diseases; 451 patients having severe development.
Currently Binh Duong has 16 treatment areas, 120 doctors, 295 nurses directly serving; and 166 medical staff (in total: 581 people); the number of available beds in the province can satisfy the demand of treatment for 17,240 people.
In the day, 02 field hospitals with the scale of more than 8,000 beds has been brought into operation in order to satisfy the demand of treating Covid-19 patients and reduce the pressure for upstream.
Besides, the province has also mobilized, established 04 private general hospitals participating in treating Covid-19 patients, including 02 hospitals used for treating foreign patients.
Cases classified by locality in the last 02 days
Accumulated large-scale screening results in the 1st phase showed that 1,292,846 people were taken test samples, 12,667 people were suspected of being infected with Covid-19 (0.98%). From August 02, 2021, the Department of Health continued to conduct the 2nd phase of large-scale screening in localities and industrial parks in the province. On August 02, 2021, testing was conducted in Di An, 46,865 people were taken rapid testing, 528 people were found positive.
Currently, the whole province has 1,599 blockade areas with 153,106 people; 142 concentrated quarantine areas with 20,589 people and 2,643 F1 cases in quarantine at home.
Regarding Covid-19 vaccination, cumulatively, 88,543 people has been vaccinated (of which: 81,118 people received the first dose; 7,425 people received the second dose; 19,433 people had normal reactions (21.9%)). The province is speeding up vaccination, from August 2, 2021, it will administer the 8th phase with 285,520 doses, the 9th and 10th phase with 140,000 doses.
