​According to the report, in the school year 2019-2020, students in the province are supported 60% of the HI premium. The whole province has 291 schools with a total of 375,270/379,891 students participating in HI, reaching the rate of 98.78%, compared with the school year 2018-2019, it increased by 25,597, the rate increased by 7.32%. Binh Duong has only 9 schools with a low rate or not reaching 100% of students participating in HI.

In the school year 2020-2021, the province strives to achieve 100% of students participating in HI. To achieve the above target, the Department of Health and the provincial SS will coordinate to perform well the medical examination and treatment, ensuring the HI benefits for students and other subjects. At the same time, strengthening the inspection and supervision of the implementation of the law on HI for students in schools, considering the responsibilities of the heads (Principals, Directors of educational institutions). All levels, branches, schools need to determine the correct responsibilities in the implementation, propagation and mobilization; consider this as the political task of the unit, etc.

At the workshop, the school units shared experiences in propaganda and mobilization of students to participate in HI as well as proposed solutions to increase the rate of students participating in HI.

On this occasion, the provincial SS awarded the Certificates of Merit from the General Director of Vietnam SS and awarded certificates of merit to collectives and individuals who have made active contributions in mobilizing students to participate in HI.
