The participants included Mr. Nguyen Hoang Chau - Member of the Provincial Standing Party Committee, Chairman of Inspection Committee of Provincial Party Committee; Mrs. Nguyen Minh Thuy - Member of the Provincial Standing Party Committee, Head of Organization Committee of Provincial Party Committee; former leaders of Ben Cat Town over the periods, including 300 delegates representing 3,492 party members of 34 Party organizations under the provincial Party Committee.

Over the past term, Ben Cat Party Committee has led the entire Party, people and armed forces of the town to take advantage of opportunities, overcome difficulties and challenges, successfully implement the Resolution of the Party Congress at all levels, targets under the Provincial Action Plan and Proposals established by the Town Party's Executive Committee.
The average annual economic growth rate of the town reaches 11.86%. The economic structure is shifting in the right direction according to the Resolution of the 11th National Congress: Industry: 75.46% - services: 24.2% - agriculture: 0.34%. GDP per capita reached VND 139.8 million/person/year. Total value of industrial production reaches VND 473,602.1 billion. Total value of service industry reaches VND 128,868.4 billion. Total value of agricultural production reaches VND 2,605.1 billion. The town attracted 2,671 investment projects, increasing total number of investment projects in the town so far up to 4,126 projects, etc.
Speaking at the Congress, Mr. Mai Hung Dung emphasized, Ben Cat town has a new and quite comprehensive development, an increasingly clear position in the overall development of the province as well as in relation to Southern key economic region. In addition, Mr. Mai Hung Dung noted that in the next term, Ben Cat Town should mobilize the highest resources in society, effectively exploit the available potentials and advantages to further accelerate the speed of socio-economic and industrial development in association with urban development towards quality improvement, sustainable development; soon complete the planning as prescribed; focus on comprehensive development of cultural and social fields, stabilize social order and safety; renovate the Party's leadership method for the political system at each level, attaching great importance to the construction of cadres, etc.
Ben Cat Party Executive Committee, term XII at the Congress
The Congress elected the 12th Ben Cat Party Executive Committee, term 2020-2025, including 39 members. At the first meeting, Ben Cat Party Executive Committee elected the Standing Committee of the Municipal Party Committee, including 13 members; elected the Secretary, Deputy Secretary, Inspection Committee and Chairman of Inspection Committee of Municipal Party Committee. Mr. Bui Duy Hien - Secretary of the Municipal Party Committee for the 2015-2020 term continued to be elected to hold the position of Party Secretary in the 2020-2025 term; Mr. Nguyen Hoang Thong and Mr. Huynh Van Nghe hold the positions of Deputy Secretary. In addition to 01 implied delegate, the Congress elected 23 official delegates and 02 alternate delegates to attend the 11th Provincial Party Congress.
Voting the capacity of delegates to attend the higher-level Congress
Delegates attending the Congress unanimously voted to approve the Resolution of the Congress as a basis for the Municipal Party Committee to focus on intelligence, promote all resources to implement the overall target in the next term. In particular, to constantly build a clean and strong Party Committee, enhance leadership capacity, strengthen Party organizations, improve the efficiency of State management, promote the role of Fatherland Front and sociopolitical organizations and people; push up economy to grow rapidly and sustainably; develop the industry in association with the task of urban development, service and labor productivity improvement; ensure social security and welfare, improve the people's life in association with the work of caring, building and developing people in the direction of civilization and progress. To mobilize resources to continue investing in construction and development of the town's urban area into an industrial and service urban center towards civilization and sustainability; To make efforts so that Ben Cat town will basically meet the criteria for grade-II urban area by 2025.
