Expected to facilitate the
demand of public transport and to satisfy services of passenger transport companies,
the new bus station with its first- class (class I) design and facilities will
add modern look to the façade of the urban city and help fostering the trading
services in the area.
Adjacent to My Phuoc - Tan
Van highway, the new bus station is planned to cover an area of 10 hectares in
Binh Quoi B hamlet, Binh Chuan ward belonging to Thuan An district.
In addition to platforms for
disembarkation and embarkation of bus and fixed route passengers, taxi ranks,
central operation room, office space for bus drivers…there are other facilities
such as café and restaurants, recreation lounges, fuel stations and maintenance
areas.
Binh Duong province will mobilized
social capital sources to build the new bus station which will has the
estimated investment capital of around 238 billion VND.

The Vice Chairman of Binh
Duong Provincial People’s Committee concluded at the meeting that this project
is a vital need to bridge the gaps between neighboring economic zones and to
meet the socio-economic development of the province. He assigned the public
transport department to cooperate with functional sectors, Thuan An Town and
the consulting unit to sketch out the phases of the project construction,
expenditures for land clearance compensation…
”Relevant sides should
supplement details and complete the plan of Binh Duong new bus station project so
as to submit to the provincial people’s committee for approval” urged Mr. Tran
Thanh Liem.
