representing Brainport Eindhoven, partner of Becamex IDC introduced overview about
Binh Duong Smart City Project with Triple Helix model (State - Enterprise -
School) and Binh Duong's 2016-2020 development plan in the fields of: Improve the
quality of human resources; modern urban civilization planning, development of
knowledge services. At the same time, introduce the semiconductor and propose a
feasibility study on back-end manufacturing for high-tech semiconductor
industry in Binh Duong.

Tran Thanh Liem said, Binh Duong Smart City Project targets new values of

services with high levels of intelligence, the dynamic, creative, flexible
business environment that having ability to adapt to the changing world.

The project focuses on the
direction of developing scientific research - education system, creating the
best conditions to promote startups, to attract and connect more high-tech
manufacturing businesses to leverage investment portfolio of the province, at
the same time, apply creativity technology application to
create more comfortable and modern civilization residential and working
facilities for people and businesses. Over time, Binh Duong Smart City Project
has closely followed action plans, specific development plans of agencies,
departments. Binh Duong province is simultaneously implementing reforms and
renewal towards people and businesses. Chairman believes, the contributions and
exchanges of members, partners and units will be an important contribution in
building Binh Duong Smart City Project, contributing to a prosperous and better
life for the people.
