Attending the ceremony was Nguyen Huu Tu, the Deputy Secretary of Provincial Party Committee, Mai Hung Dung, the member of Standing Board of Provincial Party Committee cum permanent Deputy Chair of Provincial People's Council, Pham Dinh Don, the Deputy Director of Southern Department of Environment, leaders of departments, unions, agencies, people's committees in districts, towns, Thu Dau Mot City and enterprise representatives.
Binh Duong Green Book 2016 records 61 enterprises of good environment protection including 10 domestic and 50 FDI enterprises. The evaluation criteria of the Green Book is based on law observation in terms of environment protection in Vietnam, standards and regulations of environment management and other related matters.

The Green Book introduces criteria and scale points for categorizing enterprises and processes of such categorization, especially information about 61 enterprises named in the Green Book including information about their incorporation, business lines, production scales, and outstanding outcomes of environment protection.
The Green Book is to name and praise enterprises of good environment and an effort to improve environment management of enterprises causing pollution.
Addressing the ceremony, Mai Hung Dung, the member of Standing Board of Provincial Party Committee cum permanent Deputy Chair of Provincial People's Council, celebrated the achievements of enterprises. To promote such roles and responsibility of enterprises in environment protection, he demanded Department of Natural Resources and Environment to do researches and consult with Provincial People's Committee to adjust Decision No. 03/2011/QD-UBDN dated November 27th, 2011 regarding the criteria of enterprise ranking and construction of Binh Duong Green Book with more stricter criteria to match the new conditions. Coordination should be made with local authorities to promote information dissemination regarding the listing of individuals and organizations of information access to implement. The enterprises are urged to promote environment protection with more actions for pollution prevention.
On the occasion, Provincial People's Committee awarded merit certificates to 61 enterprises of good environment protection named in Binh Duong Green Book 2016.
