The province’s export turnover in May 2016 was estimated at nearly US$1.7billion, up 3.8% compared to the previous month and 19.1% against last year’s same period. The figure over the past five years was approximately US$8.93million, up 16.2% compared to last year’s same period. The province’s main export products like garment-textile, footwear, woodwork…also reached high growth of 8.2%, 15.9%, 8.3%..., respectively.
Also in May, the province’s import value was more than US$1.43million, up 3.4% and 14.4% compared to the previous month and last year’s same period, respectively. The value in the first five months of the year achieved nearly US$7.29billion, up 16.4% against last year’s same period.
