At the meeting, Mr. Le Thanh Cung, Binh Duong People’s Committee Chairman, highly appreciated Mr. Deepak Mittal’s visit in Binh Duong Province. He briefed the highlights in the provincial socio-economic, cultural development of Binh Duong Province in the current period, especially the achievements in promoting industry including completing infrastructure synchronization, pushing up the ecological industrialization and modernization process and preferential policies to attract foreign investment in the province. At the same time, he also introduced to Consul General about the developing economic situation of the province for the first semester in 2014, of which the highlight things are investment attraction higher than the same period in 2013. Chairman added that the Binh Duong Integrated Administrative Center in operation is considered as a breakthrough in constructing of homogenous infrastructure, administrative reforms in the direction of opening single window that it is also an important highlight to facilitate for the investors. 

  

Mr. Deepak Mittal, Consul General of India expressed his sincere thanks for the hospitalities of Binh Duong leaders and was impressed by the strong development of the province. He said, during his term in Vietnam, along with the work of promoting cultural exchanges between the two nations, he will give priority in promoting the economic cooperation, especially the trade between India and Vietnam with the target of reaching US$ 15 billion in 2020. He promised to be bridge and will create the favorable conditions for Indian investors to access, explore the preferential policies of Binh Duong province.
