Vice Chairman of Binh Duong province People’s Committee receives the Rector of San Diego University (US)

BEGIC - On March 12, at the administration center hall, Mr Tran Thanh Liem, Vice Chairman of Binh Duong Province People’s Committee had a meeting with Mr. Jason Lemon, Rector of San Diego (US) on training cooperation.
  
     
Mr. Jason Lemon said that San Diego University is one of the well-known universities in the United States, famous for courses in commerce, finance, nursing, law and engineering. In this visit, the university will start cooperation with Vietnamese universities such as Dong An Polytechnic, Eastern International University in Binh Duong on foreign languages, engineering and finance education. He added the main purpose of San Diego University in Vietnam is to cooperate on education in the first two years. In the third year, the university will build its model in Vietnam with the hope to turn Vietnam into one of the leading foreign education and training centers in South East Asia.
      
On behalf of the provincial leaders, Mr. Liem acclaimed the idea of training cooperation in Binh Duong Province of the University. It is a major investment that could build qualified human resources for the province. The provincial leaders promised to offer favorable opportunities for San Diego University to implement its educational projects in Binh Duong.
