Speaking at the ceremony, Provincial People’s Committee Chairman Le Thanh Cung, on behalf of provincial authorities, sent his congratulations and sincerest thanks to Consul Generals Honorary Consulate Generals, Trades missions Business Associations. The year 2013 is a successful year of Binh Duong in terms of external relations with many significant, dynamic and effective events.
Thanks to the provincial foreign affairs and policies, Binh Duong province attracted more than US$ 1.4 billion adding the total FDI to over US$ 18.8 billion.
Chairman Le Than Cung affirmed that one of the core reason that helps Binh Duong to gain the above-mentioned achievements were very much attributed to the valuable support and cooperation from the Consular Corps and trade missions in Ho Chi Minh City as well as Vietnamese diplomatic missions abroad and the Ho Chi Minh City Department of External Relations. These agencies helped provide information about Binh Duong to investors and potential investors and were instrumental in bringing interested foreign trade and investment partners to Binh Duong.
He hoped that Binh Duong province would like to receive more their support and assistance in widening cooperation and exchanges with foreign localities in the fields of economy, sciences, technology, culture - society, education and training as well as supporting in regional and global economic integration.
