At the meeting, Chairman Le Thanh Cung expressed his congratulations to Consul General Rena Bitter on the occasion of her new term in Vietnam and highly appreciated the her predecessor Le Thanh An for his contribution to enhance the bilateral cooperation between Vietnam and United States of America as well as the good relation among US General Consulate and 33 provinces and Cities. He believed that Ms. Rena Bitter will continue to advance to the US – Vietnam relations and US Consulate General’s activities to a new level. Chairman Le Thanh Cung requested Consul General will create the favorable conditions for US businesses to invest in Binh Duong especially in the fields of urban, trade and service development when Trans –Pacific Partnership Agreement (TTP) is signed and in effect.

Consul General sent her thanks to Binh Duong leader for his hospitality and was impressed by the amazing development of Binh Duong province in the previous time, becoming the province having attractive investment environment in Vietnam. She believed that the signature of TTP will facilitate the Vietnamese investment climate in general and Binh Duong province in particular, luring the global and US investors. Therefore, US - Vietnam trade relation will be enhanced and Binh Duong province will be the first destination of US investors in subsidiaries, ecological industries and urban development.
