Mr. Le Thanh Cung, Vice Provincial Party Committee Secretary and Chairman of Binh Duong People’s Committee and Mrs. Tran Thi Kim Van, Vice Chairwoman of the Provincial People’s Council and authorities from relevant departments also welcomed Kien Giang delegations.

 

At the meeting, Mr. Le Thanh Cung, Vice Provincial Party Committee Secretary and Chairman of Binh Duong People’s Committee briefly introduced the province’s socioeconomic status in the past nine months. Currently Binh Duong has 27 industrial parks with the total area of over 8,900 hectares and 8 industrial clusters with the total area of 600 hectares. The highlight in industrial park development in Binh Duong is the progress of Vietnam Singapore Industrial Park (VSIP). VSIP has become a national model in industrial park construction and development.

 

Mr. Le Thanh Cung, Vice Provincial Party Committee Secretary and Chairman of Binh Duong People’s Committee added that the province’s solution to improve investment attraction was the determination of the Provincial Party Committee and authorities on planning, compensation and land clearance, investment promotion, administrative reform, infrastructure investment, public order security, creating a safe and favorable condition for investors.

 

Two sides also mentioned infrastructure development, investment promotion and industrial parks management.

    

At the end of the meeting, on behalf of Kien Giang delegation, Mr. Nguyen Thanh Son, Member of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Communist Party and Provincial Party Committee Secretary expressed his sincere thanks to Binh Duong authorities and relevant departments for sharing valuable experience. He also hope that Binh Duong province continue to assist Kien Giang province on establishing and constructing industrial parks/clusters based on its strengths.
