
On behalf of Binh Duong authority, Vice Chairman Tran Thanh Liem thanked Finland in recent years for it support to implement the environmental projects in Binh Dương, including treatment and recycling residential waste to compost fertilizer. He desired, in the future, Finnish Government will create favorable conditions for Binh Duong province to access the assistance ODA funds for social welfare projects and environmental protection such as investing in waste water and residential waste treatment, social housing, education, health care …. for a better community life.
Leading the delegation, Ms. Tuija Brax – Chairwoman of Audit Committee, Finnish Parliament Member, highly appreciated Binh Duong province in using the assisting fund from Finnish Government. It was demonstrated by the project in treating and recycling residential waste to compost fertilizer deployed on schedule. Through this working trip to Binh Duong province, the delegation will announce results for Finnish Parliament, and create the best conditions for provincial to approach the funds for implementing environmental project and social welfare.
After meeting with provincial leaders, the delegation toured the Compost manufacturing Plant in the solid waste treatment complex of South Binh Duong (Chanh Phu Hoa commune, Ben Cat town).
The project for treating and recycling residential waste to compost (Compost manufacturing plant) was ground broken in Dec 5 2011 in the solid waste complex of South Binh Duong. It funded by Finnish government with the total capital of 6.7 million Euros, with the capacity of 420 tons per day. This project is an integral part of the chain project in the South Binh Duong solid waste treatment complex.
