In 2008, the revenue of VSIP was estimated to exceed US$1.574 billion, total import-export turnover was more than US$1.891 billion, contributed US$44.8 million to the state budget; provided jobs for 10,922 employees, increased the total current labor force of VSIP to 68,872 people, of which 65,828 people had labor contract.
Ms.Lew Sinleng gave gratefulness to provincial leaders for creating favorable conditions for Singaporean businessmen to invest into VSIP I and VISP II, as well as the provincial policies attracted them to choose Binh Duong as their investment destination.
Ending the meeting, Mr. Le Thanh Cung ensured that the signed projects will be fulfilled as schedule and provincial leaders will create the most favorable conditions for Singapore’s new businessmen investing into Binh Duong province.
