Specifically, Binh Duong has detected and tested a total of 260 cases related to outbreaks in Hai Duong, Quang Ninh. Test results detected 01 positive case in Ca Na hamlet, An Binh, Phu Giao, announced by the Ministry of Health on January 31, 2021, is Mrs. N.T.P (Patient 1801) and 01 case of female student at Thu Dau Mot University announced by the Ministry of Health on February 01, 2021 is N.T.M.A (Patient 1843) with the address at Ca Na hamlet, An Binh commune, Phu Giao district.
The patient 1801 was infected from the patient 1644 when she returned to her hometown for a wedding in Hai Duong from January 07, 2021 to January 18, 2021. After investigation and verification, Binh Duong Department of Health has identified 90 F1 cases, with negative test results, currently are under concentrated quarantine at Phuoc Vinh B Primary School (Phu Giao); 147 F2 cases currently are under concentrated quarantine at the Medical Center of Bau Bang district. The Health branch is still investigating, verifying and making a list of cases in close contact and second round contact with the patient 1801.
For the second case, patient 1843, through investigation and verification, by the evening of February 01, 2021, the number of F1 cases exposed to patient 1843 was 103, 96 cases were taken samples to test, with 07 F1 cases negative for SARS-CoV-2 (in which the F1 case in Ben Cat is the female student L.T.L sitting at the same desk with patient 1843), 89 cases submitted samples on the morning of February 02, 2021 are waiting for results from Pasteur Institute. All of these 103 F1 cases are subject to concentrated quarantine. The number of F2 cases is 433, who have been taken for concentrated quarantine.
The Health branch is still urgently, continuing to review the subjects exposed to the case N.T.M.A to establish a list of quarantine, localize and suppress the pandemic.
Thus, as of February 02, 2021, Binh Duong province has had 31 cases of Covid-19, including 27 Vietnamese citizens returning from abroad, 1 Japanese expert, 1 Chinese expert, and 02 cases of infection in the community.
