​Following the direction of the Provincial People's Committee in Official dispatch no. 3768/UBND-VX dated August 6, 2020 on the application of information technology in the Covid-19 pandemic prevention and control, Department of Information and Communications coordinated with other agencies and units to implement the installation instructions and propaganda through many channels. As of August 17, 2020, according to data provided by the Ministry of Information and Communications, the number of Bluezone users in the province was 466,977 devices (accounting for 19.24% of the population) installed to use Bluezone app.

In order to implement the targets of the Ministry of Information and Communications, Viettel Binh Duong has proposed to the Department of Information and Communications the plans on installation of Bluezone app for the people. In order for the implementation of Viettel's personnel support plan to favorably approach enterprises in the province, the Department of Information and Communications proposed the provincial Labor Federation, Binh Duong Industrial Zones Authority to cooperate with the Department to actively propagate and mobilize employers, workers and employees to strictly implement measures to prevent and control Covid-19 in the new situation. Simultaneously, supporting Viettel Binh Duong to access and deploy instructions on installing Bluezone app for all cadres, officials, workers and employees at enterprises.​
