August 3, 2020: August 3, 2020: Sampling for 24 cases, of which 13 cases are foreign experts on entry, tested a 2nd time before completing the concentrated medical isolation at Thuan An Health Center and 11 test cases related to outbreaks in Da Nang, Quang Nam and Quang Ngai (Thu Dau Mot: 08, Thuan An: 01, Ben Cat: 02). The test results of 13 foreign experts were negative for SARS-CoV-2 and 09 cases related to Da Nang were negative for SARS-CoV-2. There are 02 cases related to Da Nang outbreak that have not had test results.
August 4, 2020: Detecting and sampling 08 new cases related to outbreaks of Da Nang, Quang Nam and Quang Ngai (Thu Dau Mot 02 cases and Tan Uyen 06 cases). No test results yet.
In addition, on the evening of August 3, 2020: Di An City Public Security detected 6 cases of Chinese people illegally entering Binh Duong. Currently, these 06 cases and 01 driver have been isolated and concentrated in Bau Bang district Health Center.
Cumulatively, up to now, 1,343 cases have been sampled for SARS-CoV-2 (745 of them have been sampled twice). As a result, 1,333 cases were negative for SARS-CoV-2, and 10 cases had no test results.
On August 4, 2020 completed medical isolation for 13 foreign experts at Thuan An Health Center; at the same time receiving medical isolation 02 foreign experts of Supor Vietnam Co., Ltd. at the Dau Tieng district Health Center, 06 Chinese people illegally entered and 01 driver were isolated at Bau Bang Medical Center, 02 cases related to the outbreak of Da Nang were isolated at Thu Dau Mot Military.
Thus, the number of cases currently under concentrated medical isolation: 403 cases (Tan Uyen Health Center isolation area: 06 cases; Thuan An Health Center isolation area: 09 cases; Di An Health Center isolation area: 27 cases; Concentrated isolation area of Becamex My Phuoc Social Housing 344 cases; Ben Cat Health Center isolation area: 02 cases; Military Hospital 4 - Army Corps 4: 01 case; Bau Bang Health Center isolation area: 07 cases; Thu Dau Mot Military isolation area: 05 cases; Dau Tieng Health Center isolation area: 02 cases). Complete concentrated medical isolation: 968 cases and the cumulative concentrated medical isolation: 1,371 cases.
Medical isolation at home, residence: 3,371 cases (Thu Dau Mot: 1,028; Thuan An: 360; Di An: 963; Tan Uyen: 466; Bac Tan Uyen: 12; Phu Giao: 26; Ben Cat: 391; Bau Bang: 124; Dau Tieng: 01). Complete medical isolation at home and residence: 4,742 cases. The cumulative medical isolation at home, residence: 8,113 cases.
Regarding the outbreak in Da Nang, Quang Nam and Quang Ngai, on the afternoon of August 4, 2020, the health surveillance system in Binh Duong province detected and sampled a total of 54 suspected cases. Currently, 44 cases were found to be negative for SARS-CoV-2, and 10 cases were newly sampled on August 3-4, 2020, waiting results from the Pasteur Institute in Ho Chi Minh City. Regarding isolation, the total number of cases related to the outbreak in Da Nang has been detected and declared as 4,647 medical cases; currently, concentrated medical isolation: 30 cases, medical isolation at home, residence: 3,371 cases and self-health monitoring at home: 1,246 cases.
