August 3, 2020: Sampling 24 cases, of which 13 cases were foreign experts on entry, to be tested 2nd time before completing the concentrated medical isolation at Thuan An Health Center; 11 new test cases (Thu Dau Mot: 08, Thuan An: 01, Ben Cat: 02) were related to outbreaks in Da Nang, Quang Nam and Quang Ngai. Waiting for test results.
Accumulated to date, 1,335 cases have been sampled for SARS-CoV-2 testing (745 of them have been sampled twice).
The number of cases currently under concentrated medical isolation: 404 cases (Tan Uyen Health Center isolation area: 06 cases; Thuan An Health Center isolation area: 21 cases; Di An Health Center isolation area: 27 cases; Concentrated isolation area of Becamex My Phuoc Social Housing 344 cases; Ben Cat Health Center isolation area: 02 cases; Military Hospital 4 - Army Corps 4: 01 case and Thu Dau Mot Military isolation area: 03 cases).
Complete concentrated medical isolation: 955 cases. The cumulative concentrated medical isolation is 1,359 cases.
Medical isolation at home, residence: 3,022 cases (Thu Dau Mot: 998; Thuan An: 322; Di An: 810; Tan Uyen: 412; Bac Tan Uyen: 12; Phu Giao: 24; Ben Cat: 321; Bau Bang: 122; Dau Tieng: 01).
Complete medical isolation at home and residence: 4,742 cases. The cumulative medical isolation at home, residence: 7,764 cases.
Regarding outbreaks in Da Nang, Quang Nam and Quang Ngai, by afternoon of August 3, 2020, the health surveillance system in Binh Duong province detected and sampled a total of 46 suspected cases went to Da Nang and neighboring provinces in the period from July 1, 2020. Currently, 35 cases were found to be negative for SARS-CoV-2, and 11 cases were newly sampled on August 3, 2020, waiting results from the Pasteur Institute in Ho Chi Minh City.
Regarding isolation, the total number of cases related to the outbreak in Da Nang has been detected and declared as 4,193 medical cases; currently, concentrated medical isolation: 27 cases, medical isolation at home, residence: 3,022 cases and self-health monitoring at home: 1,144 cases.
