The Health sector has completed a plan to procure medical equipment for Covid-19 treatment according to the guidance of the Ministry of Health under an initiative and prevention plan on the basis of efficiency and savings, with an estimated budget of nearly VND 90 billion for 2 periods in May 2020 and in case of emergency.
The Steering Committee sets out the following tasks and solutions: Well implement the management of each residential area, organize investigation, epidemiological surveillance and early detection of risk sources; pay special attention to cases related to flights from disease areas to Viet Nam which stay in Binh Duong province; strictly apply isolation measures. At the same time, maintain and operate the isolation areas of routes; Ensure 4,000 beds are always in a position ready to receive objects into isolation. Treatment facilities from provincial to local levels continue to implement regulations on prevention and control of pandemic; at the same time, to improve the capacity of medical examination and treatment, and establishing satellite hospitals with higher-level hospitals such as Hospital for Tropical Disease of Ho Chi Minh City, Cho Ray Hospital, Children's Hospital 1, Children's Hospital 2; applying technology in examination, consultation and treatment. Continuing to well perform the home health examination and counseling, limiting health facilities to common diseases. Improve the efficiency of dealing with public services, online public services, reduce administrative procedures, work online, apply technology in solving jobs.
At the conference, representatives of departments and agencies at bridge points presented the implementation of the Prime Minister's Resolution 42/NQ-CP on supporting to those affected by Covid-19 pandemic. The representative of the Department of Education and Training said that he is focusing on preparing facilities and conditions to ensure that students return to school, if nothing changes, it is expected that on May 4th students can go back to school. Previously, to ensure the good performance of the task of receiving and quarantining the reception according to the norms of the Military Region, 8/9 districts and towns had recruited schools and dormitories as the concentrated isolation areas and currently, localities are coordinating surveys and reorganizing new locations to ensure facilities for students returning to school.

Commenting on the long-lasting disease situation, Mr. Tran Thanh Liem - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the provincial People's Committee said that in the coming time, we have to accept living with the disease, but it is necessary to have strict measures to ensure a safe living in all areas: Safe schooling, safe transportation, safe workplace activities, safe production, safe medical examination and treatment, etc.
Chairman of the provincial People's Committee noted that, despite the easing of social gap, the units, departments, localities were absolutely not negligent and subjective. This is also a favorable opportunity for the province to focus on promoting economic growth; remove difficulties for production, implement measures to ensure social security. At the same time, continue to prepare to cope with situations in disease prevention, purchase medical supplies, medical equipment for prevention and control of pandemic. Regarding the implementation of Resolution No. 42/NQ-CP of the Prime Minister, the Chairman assigned departments and branches to continue studying to have a specific application plan for each subject, the review needs to promote the role and responsibility of grassroots cadres, the implementation must ensure the right people, openness, transparency and accuracy so as not to take advantage of policies for self-seeking purposes.
