Speaking at the conference, Mr. Tran Huu Loi – General Director of Thanh Phuoc Joint Stock Company said that Thanh Phuoc Port was established in 2007, specializing in exploiting inland waterways and exploiting bulk barges such as agricultural products, limestone, cement, and material for production. At the end of 2023, Thanh Phuoc Port was announced as an Inland Container Depot (ICD), and in March 2024, The Ministry of Finance recognized the location for customs clearance at the port of export and import of goods established inland at Thanh Phuoc Port.

Thanh Phuoc Port has available warehouse systems, exploitation yards, and a favorable geographical location to connect industrial parks and factories in the province. At the same time, the company wants to transform transport modes to create a "green" logistics route, reduce the load of roads, and optimize business costs. Thanh Phuoc Port focuses on developing customs clearance services for import and export goods at the port through a barge route connecting with port clusters in Ho Chi Minh City, especially associated with the deep-water port cluster in Cai Mep Thi Vai (Ba Ria – Vung Tau).
Binh Duong province is implementing the policy of relocating enterprises located outside the zone, industrial clusters in the South into the zone, the Northern industrial cluster of the province, which is convenient for businesses when choosing Thanh Phuoc Port as the place to carry out customs clearance procedures for export, and import goods. The Port has connected the data transmission line between Customs and shipping lines. At the same time, investing in a smart port management system with software: TOS, Eport. Thereby shortening the time to settle procedures in customs clearance, delivery, and receipt of goods. In the coming time, the Port will build 02 container loading and unloading harbors to shorten loading and unloading time, and increase freight forwarding output.
