Reporting on the planning of industrial parks specializing in mechanical engineering, the Binh Duong Industrial Zones Authority said that the Authority is currently coordinating with the Department of Construction and related sectors to establish Tasks and Projects of General Planning building a scale of 1/5,000 of mechanical industrial park (Bac Tan Uyen 1 Industrial Park). It is expected to be built in Tan Uyen city and Bac Tan Uyen district.
Overview of the meeting
Regarding the progress of several industrial parks in the province, according to the Binh Duong Industrial Zones Authority, the project of construction investment and infrastructure business of Bau Bang expanded Industrial Park has been granted a Registration Certificate of Investment in Lai Uyen town, Cay Truong II commune, Bau Bang district and Long Tan commune, Dau Tieng district with an area of 1,000 hectares. Cay Truong Industrial Park (Lai Uyen town and Cay Truong II commune, Bau Bang district) has been approved for planning at a scale of 1/5,000 and 1/2,000. Currently, the investor is completing the approval documentation of the 1/500 scale of Construction Planning for submitting the basic design appraisal. Industrial parks are facing some problems regarding compensation plans and support for cases of land use rights transfer.

At the meeting, the Binh Duong Industrial Zones Authority reported on the adjustment of investment policies for Dai Dang, Rach Bap, Dat Cuoc, and Song Than 3 Industrial Parks.
Concluding the meeting, the Chairman of the PPC requested the Department of Finance to allocate additional budget estimates for the planning of the Mechanical Industrial Park. The Binh Duong Industrial Zones Authority coordinates with relevant units to implement planning with a scale of 1/5,000 to ensure the progress of the project's next steps.
For the projects of construction investment and infrastructure business in Bau Bang expanded industrial park, Cay Truong, the Department of Natural Resources and Environment coordinates with the People's Committee of Bau Bang district to approve the compensation to come up with a compensation plan in June 2024.
The Chairman of the PPC also requested the Binh Duong Industrial Zones Authority to coordinate with units to quickly complete procedures to adjust investment policies in Industrial Parks: Dai Dang, Rach Bap, Dat Cuoc, Song Than 3, etc. so that industrial parks operate stably and create favorable conditions for attracting investment.
