Delegation representative raises recommendations and proposals at the meeting
Over the past time, EVN has made efforts to ensure electricity supply for the Southern region in general and Binh Duong in particular. However, with Binh Duong's rapid industrial development and urbanization rate, it is forecasted that the demand for electricity output will increase in the near future. However, with the current difficulties in investing in new power projects, to ensure power sources for the province, the delegation hoped for the province's support in ensuring electricity supply and implementing effective electricity-saving solutions in the province; as well as support in resolving difficulties and obstacles in site clearance and implementation of power grid projects.
At the meeting, the recommendations and proposals of the delegation as well as of Binh Duong province were discussed specifically by both sides, and solutions were proposed to resolve the issue.
Based on the opinions of the delegation, the Chairman of the PPC Vo Van Minh said that the province will absorb the branch's recommendations and proposals and coordinate to resolve difficulties and problems. The province is drastically implementing master planning at the provincial and district levels, including specific arrangements for power projects. He hoped to continue receiving comments from the Electricity branch related to electricity planning integrated with the province's general planning; renovation of existing power networks; and especially the policy of developing green energy to attract investors to the province.
