According to the report of the Provincial Transportation Works Construction Investment Project Management Authority, the Bac Tan Uyen – Phu Giao – Bau Bang Highway project has a total length of about 50km, passing through Bac Tan Uyen district, Phu Giao district, and Bau Bang district. There are 851 households and 18 organizations affected by site clearance work. The province has approved compensations for 851 households and 15 organizations with a total amount of 1.391.717 billion VND, but the remaining 03 organizations have not approved the compensation. Compensations have been made for 835 households and 15 organizations with 1.360.819 billion VND, but the remaining 16 households with an amount of 30.898 billion VND are continuing to pay. Until now, 837 households and 18 organizations have handed over land with 221.85 hectares, reaching 99.62%.

Particularly, the section through Phu Giao district is about 30 km long, with 465 households, individuals, and 09 organizations affected. Compensation has been approved, and 465 households and 07 organizations have been supported and resettled with 735,421 billion VND, reaching 99.6%. 450 households and 07 organizations have been paid 704.57 billion VND, reaching 96.6%. The total area handed over is 138.47 hectares, reaching 99.39%, and 23 households have been resettled. The District People's Committee is determining the specific land price to pay resettlement land use fees. Regarding the relocation of technical infrastructure, over 90% of the progress has been completed.

According to a report of the Phu Giao District People's Committee, particularly the section from the Tam Lap intersection to Bau Bang, the construction volume reached about 87.6% according to the contract. The total disbursement value has now reached 818,049 million VND out of 961,588 million VND, reaching 85.07%. Compensation for clearance and site handover reached about 97.5% of the entire project, but 13 households still have land problems. In the section from Tam Lap Bridge to Dong Phu, the construction volume reached about 66.44% according to the contract. The total disbursement value has now reached 354,117 million VND out of 515,021 million VND, reaching 68.76%. About 98.1% of the entire project has been handed over.

Mr. Doan Van Dong - Chairman of Phu Giao District People's Committee said that the district is striving to complete the clearance compensation and hand over the site to the construction unit in April 2024. It is expected that on September 2nd, 2024, Phase 1 and Phase 2 will be put into use.
