Accordingly, the objects of assessment are production, business, and service establishments operating in Binh Duong province.
To be included in the assessment list of the Green Book, the establishments must fully meet all conditions: Have a Decision approving the results of the environmental impact report/ Environmental license/ Environmental registration or equivalent documents as prescribed in Clause 2, Article 171 of the Law on Environmental Protection in 2020 (Decision to approve the assessment report of environmental impact, assessment report of preliminary environmental impact, assessment report of detailed environmental impact, assessment report of additional environmental impact, assessment report of repeated environmental impact, detailed project of environmental protection and confirmation document of simple environmental protection project, environmental standard registration, commitment of environmental protection, plans of environmental protection promulgated by the state authorities before the effective date of this Law). The establishments must have also implemented projects and measures of waste treatment according to approved environmental records and have been inspected and confirmed by the competent authorities. Besides, the establishments must have not been handled for administrative violations in the field of environmental protection and water resources or have not been reported about environmental protection work by the community where the establishments are located. If being reported, this reflection must be verified to be incorrect for at least 02 years from the time of assessment or not being verified and handled by competent authorities that show signs of violating the law on environmental protection.
Establishments with a total score of 90 points or more will be listed in the Green Book and awarded the Green Book logo by the Provincial People's Committee.
Establishments listed in the Green Book have a total score of 100 points or more and comply well with other legal regulations such as Taxation, Social Insurance, Trade Unions, and Labor, will be rewarded by the Provincial People's Committee, awarded a Certificate of Merit from the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee and the Green Book logo.
