On the side of localities, there were Mr. Vo Van Minh - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of Binh Duong Provincial People's Committee (PPC); Mr. Vo Tan Duc - Acting Chairman of Dong Nai PPC; Mr. Pham Van Trong - Vice Chairman of Tien Giang PPC; and representatives of related departments of 3 provinces.
According to the report of Binh Duong PPC, by February 15, 2024, the province has attracted more than 11,319 billion VND of domestic investment capital, including 947 newly registered enterprises, 130 enterprises with capital adjustments; attracted 107,3 million USD of foreign investment; and industrial production increases by 27.7% over the same period in 2023. By February 21, 2024, total export turnover reached 7 billion 366 million USD, an increase of 6.71% over the same period. Specifically, export turnover reached 4 billion 380 million USD, up 10.81% over the same period; and import turnover reached 2 billion 986 million USD, up 0.03% over the same period. The total state budget revenue is over 12,571 billion VND. In planning and construction work, the province has submitted documents for appraisal of the Provincial Planning, Strategic Environmental Assessment Report of Binh Duong Provincial Planning for the period 2021 - 2030, vision to 2050.
Over the past time, the Binh Duong PPC has implemented solutions for investment in infrastructure development, administrative reformation, support access to loans; ensuring social security; programs and policies to support small and medium-sized enterprises; supporting businesses in finding new markets, etc. Those solutions aim to support businesses in the province to recover produce and do business stably. However, there are still difficulties during the process.
At the working session, the provinces proposed to the Delegation many issues related to land legal procedures, investment and construction procedures, fire fighting and prevention, customs, policy, mechanisms, etc.
The recommendations and proposals of the three provinces were specifically answered by representatives of ministries and branches.

Speaking at the working session, on behalf of the Delegation, Minister of Construction Nguyen Thanh Nghi congratulated and highly appreciated the achievements in the socio-economic development of the three provinces over the past few years. In the coming time, the Delegation will continue to accompany the localities to solve their difficulties and problems. The provinces need to exploit their advantages, the domestic market, and expand the import-export market. At the same time, they must pay attention to urban planning and spatial planning associated with specialized planning, and pay attention to compensation, site clearance, and raw material sources for key national and provincial transportation projects. They also must simplify administrative procedures for investment projects, social housing development projects, and especially land funds.
