At the meeting, Vice Chairman of the PPC Nguyen Van Danh shared the socio-economic development of the province. He highly appreciated the cooperation and support of the USA Consulate General Ho Chi Minh City in connecting cooperation between Binh Duong province and US localities and businesses. Especially, on July 12, 2023, the Binh Duong PPC and the Nebraska State Government signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) on establishing friendly cooperative relations on the occasion of the Nebraska Governor's Delegation's official visit to Binh Duong province.

The Vice Chairman of the PPC said that the USA currently ranks 10th out of 65 countries and territories that have investment projects in Binh Duong, with 135 projects and a total capital of 1 billion 360 million USD. The main investment fields are electronics, logistics, ceramic tiles and sanitary wares, wooden furniture and interior decoration, cosmetics, sewing and embroidery, and exported textile products, etc.

Thanking the delegation of Binh Duong province for coming to send New Year's greetings, Ms. Anne Benjaminson - Deputy Consul General of the USA in Ho Chi Minh City expressed her impression on the socio-economic development of Binh Duong province. She also thanked the provincial leaders for supporting the activities of US businesses in the province.
On the same afternoon, the Binh Duong province delegation also visited and extended New Year's greetings to the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) in Ho Chi Minh City. Vice Chairman of the PPC Nguyen Van Danh highly appreciated the cooperation and support of JICA for ODA projects in Binh Duong province. Recently, JICA has supported ODA capital for Binh Duong province to invest in completing 02 projects to improve the water environment in South Binh Duong phase 1 and phase 2, solving the problem of drainage and domestic water treatment in Thu Dau Mot and Thuan An cities. The total ODA capital funded by JICA is about 27,730 million Yen (equivalent to 5,753 billion VND).
