At the meeting, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Nguyen Van Loi expressed his joy when the Consul General and the delegation visited Binh Duong on the occasion of the Groundbreaking Ceremony of the Midori Park Project of Becamex Tokyu Company and witnessed the Company's development in Binh Duong province through implemented projects.
In 2023, the socio-economic development of Binh Duong achieved positive results. Accumulated to December 31, 2023, the whole province has attracted 4,224 investment projects from 65 countries and territories with a total registered capital of more than 40.3 billion USD. Japan ranks second in terms of investments in Binh Duong with 351 projects and a total investment capital of 5.92 billion USD.

Mr. Nguyen Van Loi highly appreciated the support from the Consul General and Japanese businesses who have always accompanied the province in its socio-economic development process. In the coming time, Binh Duong hopes to receive more support and close cooperation from Mr. Ono Masuo as well as the Consulate General of Japan so that the friendly cooperative relationship between Binh Duong province and Japanese partners will increasingly be strengthened, contributing to tightening the comprehensive strategic partnership between Viet Nam and Japan.
On behalf of the provincial leaders, Mr. Nguyen Van Loi sent condolences to the Government and people of Japan over the loss of life and property caused by the recent earthquake in Ishikawa Prefecture. At the moment, the province is waiting for information from the Japanese side to accompany and support Ishikawa Prefecture. He believed that with a spirit of resilience and a strong tradition of solidarity, the Japanese government and people would soon overcome difficult times and challenges to stabilize and develop even stronger.

Mr. Ono Masuo thanked for the sharing and encouragement from the Party Committee, government, and people of Binh Duong province to Japan. He said that this is a great motivation to help the Japanese people in general and Ishikawa Prefecture in particular, to quickly overcome difficulties and damage from the earthquake.
He also thanked the Provincial Party Secretary and the Binh Duong government for always supporting, improving the investment environment, and creating favorable conditions for Japanese investors in the province. The success of Becamex Tokyu Co., Ltd has created great resonance in Viet Nam and Japan. In the coming time, he hoped that the provincial government would continue to support Japanese businesses, including Becamex Tokyu Co., Ltd, to expand production and achieve more success, positively contributing to the overall development of the province.
