According to the 2023 report, Binh Duong Provincial Public Security focused on performing an excellent job of understanding and forecasting the situation, managing areas, targets, and subjects, fighting to prevent hostile forces' plots and sabotage activities, ensuring internal political security, economic security, social security, and promptly resolve complicated cases and matters. At the same time, it proactively and drastically implements solutions to prevent and combat crime and social evils; the investigation results into crimes related to social order exceeded the set target by 14.4%.

The Provincial Public Security advised the PPC and Provincial People's Committee to mobilize the combined strength of both the political system and the people to complete the 02 projects, i.e., issue citizen identification cards and national population data, and Project 06 of the Government. To date, Binh Duong has completed the task of issuing citizen identification cards and electronic identification cards to 100% of eligible people. Binh Duong is one of 19 provinces that completed the task of issuing citizen identification cards the earliest, ranking 2nd out of 63 localities in registering level 2 electronic identity accounts for people.

Summarizing the movement "For National Security 2023", the Provincial Public Security achieved and exceeded 49 out of 55 targets assigned by the Ministry of Public Security, with 554 collectives and 1,350 individuals rewarded at all levels.

In 2024, the Provincial Public Security will continue to carry out the action slogan "Building a truly clean, strong, regular, elite and modern Binh Duong Provincial Public Security", focusing on conducting tasks focused on ensuring political security, social order, and safety in the area.

Speaking at the conference, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Nguyen Van Loi congratulated, praised, and appreciated the achievements of the Provincial Public Security in 2023. He emphasized that 2024 is estimated to be challenging, but the province is determined to accelerate comprehensively in all fields to successfully implement the Resolution of the 13th National Party Congress and the 11th Provincial Party Congress. Therefore, despite the difficulties and complications, the Provincial Public Security must always be ready with plans to avoid passive and unexpected situations, especially political security, worker security, economic security, etc. It must strengthen and improve the quality of ideological, political, and ethical force-building work. Particularly, the leaders must behave as models for officers and soldiers, building a clean and strong force, with "bright morality, professional expertise, for the country, for the people", and implement power control, especially in preventing and combating corruption and negativity in the force.

It is especially necessary to focus on the grassroots and firmly grasp the local situation; protect the security and safety of important events and major holidays; build a posture of people's hearts, people's security, and the movement of All People Protect National Security. Moreover, the Provincial Public Security must continue to innovate, create, encourage, reward promptly, and summarize policies related to models deployed in the province's armed forces, thereby advising the province to promulgate better policies, and advising on investment in basic equipment capable of fighting all types of crimes, especially high-tech crimes.

The Secretary noted that it is necessary to better implement Project 06 and administrative reform, promptly resolve petitions from people and businesses, and develop digital citizens and digital society. The Provincial Public Security must pay attention to training, retraining, and redeployment of forces in the current limited staffing conditions. Moreover, it has to expand cooperation with other countries, and firmly grasp the international crime situation.

On the occasion of the New Year 2024, the Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee wished all officers and soldiers of the Provincial Public Security to continue to unite and successfully carry out tasks in 2024.
