Welcoming the Chinese business delegation, Mr. Vo Van Minh said that Binh Duong has always been considered one of the leading provinces and cities in terms of socioeconomic development and the speed of attracting foreign direct investment (FDI). Binh Duong currently has 29 industrial parks, a total area of 12.798 ha, with nearly 70.000 domestic businesses and more than 4200 FDI projects.
Overview of the meeting
China currently ranks first among 65 countries and territories with FDI projects in Binh Duong with 1.666 projects and a total investment capital of 10.4 billion USD. Some of the main fields are producing and processing household wooden furniture, iron and steel, electronic components and household electrical products, leather shoes, garments, fiber processing, textile dyeing, interior decoration, food processing, plastic packaging, etc.
The Chairman of the PPC welcomed and hoped that Chinese enterprises would continue to explore and expand investment cooperation opportunities in Binh Duong.

Representative of Chinese businesses – Mr. Pei Yongzhi said that Chinese businesses want to have conversations with Vietnamese localities and businesses, thereby opening opportunities for cooperation between the two sides in the economic field, as well as cultural and social fields. He appreciated the development and investment environment of Binh Duong. He also said that the Chinese business delegation has worked and discussed with some industrial park investors in Binh Duong, which will be a bridge connecting businesses of the two sides in the near future.
This coming April, Binh Duong is expected to host the Horasis China Meeting to create opportunities to meet and connect for investment cooperation with Chinese businesses. Mr. Vo Van Minh sent his invitation and hoped to see Mr. Pei Yongzhi as well as Chinese business delegations at this coming event.
