The alignment is consistent with the alignment agreed by the Ministry of Transport with the People's Committees of Binh Duong and Binh Phuoc provinces, in accordance with the road network planning for the 2021 – 2030 period, vision to 2050 approved by the Prime Minister in Decision No. 1454/QD-TTg dated September 01, 2021. Specifically, from Ring Road 3 of Ho Chi Minh City, the route coincides with DT.743 and DT.747 to before Khanh Van bridge, then turns left away from the current road, goes along Cai stream, and parallels DH.409. The route cuts DT.747A at Cong Xanh, then goes parallel and intersects DT.741, cutting the Bac Tan Uyen - Phu Giao - Bau Bang road, going to An Long commune, Phu Giao district to the border of Binh Phuoc province.

The starting point is at Ring Road 3 of Ho Chi Minh City, located in Thuan An city, Binh Duong province. The end point is at the border of Binh Duong province and Binh Phuoc province (Km52+247 according to project roadmap).

The total route length is about 45,747 kilometers.

Scale: Expressway; Design speed: 100 km/h; Type and level of construction: Grade I traffic construction.

Location: Through the administrative boundaries of districts and cities: Thuan An, Tan Uyen, Bac Tan Uyen, Phu Giao, Bau Bang in Binh Duong province.

Estimated time for preparation and construction: 2023 - 2027 period.

Estimated land use demand is about 322.5 hectares.

Expected type of PPP project contract: Build - operate - transfer (BOT)

Preliminary total investment of the project: 17.408,39 billion VND.
