At the meeting, Vice Chairman of the PPC Nguyen Loc Ha provided brief information about the characteristics of the province's socio-economic development situation. Accordingly, Binh Duong attracts foreign investment capital (FDI) ranked 2nd in the country and ranked TOP in the country in many fields. The province currently has 29 industrial parks (IPs), and 12 industrial clusters; nearly 4,000 foreign enterprises from 65 countries and territories invest in Binh Duong with a total investment capital of more than 40 billion USD. After 20 years of industrial development, Binh Duong is prioritizing attracting investment in high-tech, advanced, environmentally friendly, less labor-intensive industries and fields that create high added value. At the same time, it has a strategy to build and develop smart cities, green industries, and green urban areas. In particular, in 2023, ICF officially honored Binh Duong with the title Intelligent Community of the Year - TOP 1 ICF 2023.

In addition, the provincial leaders also introduced the development of green IPs in Binh Duong along with the province's green and sustainable international trade and trade promotion activities.
Through shared information, Mr. Dominik Meichle - Vice President of EuroCham Viet Nam highly appreciated the province's existing conditions, which is the factor that helps Binh Duong attract foreign investment. He shared that, along with the results of the practical survey, EuroCham wished to cooperate with Binh Duong to organize the "Green Growth 2024" High-Level Forum and exhibition activities in the province. He said that EuroCham is a joint venture organization representing more than 1,400 European enterprises. He hoped that through activities, it would support Viet Nam in general and Binh Duong in particular in green development, especially green economy. With the successful results of the Green Growth Forum 2022 and 2023 in Ho Chi Minh City and Ha Noi, he hoped that the two sides would coordinate closely and unify in preparations to make the "Green Growth 2024" High-Level Forum a success.
Vice Chairman of the PPC Nguyen Loc Ha expressed his joy with EuroCham's support plans for Viet Nam in general and Binh Duong in particular in the coming time. Regarding cooperation between the two sides in logistics, he believed, based on Binh Duong's diplomatic relationship with 13 provinces and cities around the world; being a trusted partner with three world-renowned organizations ICF, Horasis,, and WTC; experience in regularly organizing international and national events; combined with EuroCham's reputation, the "Green Growth 2024" High-Level Forum event will be successful. He suggested that there needs to be a more detailed discussion between the two sides about the upcoming plan.
