At the meeting, Mr. Jaya Ratnam affirmed that Binh Duong is always an important strategic partner of Singapore. Over the past 27 years, Binh Duong and Singapore have made breakthroughs in cooperation and development, notably the construction of Viet Nam - Singapore Industrial Parks (VSIP) in Binh Duong and many provinces and cities nationwide.
The year 2023 marks the 50th anniversary of establishing diplomatic relations between the two countries and also 10 years of the Viet Nam - Singapore strategic partnership. The Ambassador hoped that in the coming time, there will be more practical and meaningful activities between Binh Duong and Singapore. The Singaporean side will actively support Binh Duong in implementing digital transformation and green and renewable energy conversion. The Ambassador will introduce many potential enterprises to visit and learn about investment and business opportunities in Binh Duong province, especially in the field of high technology; at the same time, continue to support and invest in developing high-quality human resources so that the province can attract valuable investors in Singapore.

Chairman of the PPC Vo Van Minh thanked Mr. Jaya Ratnam for always giving love to Binh Duong during the past time. Chairman of the PPC said that Singapore currently ranks 3rd among 65 countries and territories with investment projects in Binh Duong, with 289 investment projects with a total capital of nearly 5.4 billion USD.
The VSIP joint venture is a successful cooperation between economic partners and has become a good symbol of friendship and cooperation between the two countries. It can be affirmed that Singapore's investment in Binh Duong is important and increasingly resonant. VSIP has become a model symbol of concentrated industrial park development both domestically and internationally. The effectiveness and widespread of the VSIP brand are also a vivid testament to Binh Duong's dynamism, innovation, integration and development.

Along with VSIP I and VSIP II, VSIP III continues to mark Singapore's friendly relationship and sustainable development cooperation with Binh Duong. VSIP III with a scale of 1,000 hectares, is a model industrial park applying a smart management model with new technologies of industry 4.0 as well as applying green technologies and using renewable energy sources.
In addition, Becamex IDC Corp has cooperated with Singapore Polytechnic to deploy the Viet Nam - Singapore Industry 4.0 Innovation Center at Eastern International University (EIU). The activities will help raise awareness about applying technology and innovation for sustainable development in enterprises.
