At the conference, Mr. Vo Van Minh, Chairman of Binh Duong PPC, affirmed that after more than 28 years of establishing bilateral relations, the United States and Vietnam have become reliable partners and have an increasingly positive and comprehensive cooperative relationship in all fields. That was further confirmed after the US President's visit to Vietnam last September. Currently, Vietnam is the 8th largest trading partner of the United States and an important link in the global supply chain; Vietnam is also a large importer of the United States with materials and goods to support economic development.

Accumulated to August 2023, Viet Nam has attracted more than 38,000 foreign investment projects with a total registered capital of more than 453 billion USD from 143 countries and territories around the world (of which, the United States has nearly 1,300 projects with a total investment capital of 11.8 billion USD). In Binh Duong province alone, there are currently 4,160 investment projects from 65 countries and territories with a total registered capital of more than 40 billion USD. Binh Duong currently ranks 2nd in the country in attracting foreign investment capital, after Ho Chi Minh City. Including 135 US projects with a total capital of more than 1.3 billion USD.
Chairman of Binh Duong PPC added that the Binh Duong provincial government always accompanies and creates the most favorable conditions for production enterprises and maintains supply chains through dialogues and contacts with associations, enterprises, including US enterprises, to listen and promptly resolve difficulties and problems, creating favorable conditions for investors and enterprises to operate production and business effectively.

At the conference, representatives of Becamex IDC introduced preferential policies for FDI investment in Binh Duong and industrial parks invested by Becamex.
