​PORTAL - On the morning of September 08, at the Administration Center of Binh Duong province, Mr. Nguyen Van Loi - Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the Provincial Delegation of National Assembly Deputies received and worked with a delegation of professors and students from Tokyu Keizai University (Japan) led by Professor Akinori Keki to visit Binh Duong.​

​Also welcoming the delegation were Ms. Truong Thi Bich Hanh - Member of the Provincial Standing Party Committee, Head of Propaganda and Training Commission of Provincial Party Committee; Mr. Nguyen Loc Ha - Member of Provincial Standing Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee (PPC) and leaders of departments, committees, branches, mass organizations and universities in the province.

Expressing his joy to welcome the delegation of Japanese professors and students to visit, Provincial Party Secretary Nguyen Van Loi introduced to the delegation the socio-economic development situation as well as the province's policies and orientations for education and training.

Overview of the meeting

The Provincial Party Secretary emphasized that Binh Duong province is always interested in investing in developing education and training high-quality human resources to meet the province's development requirements in the coming time. In the current context of globalization, student exchanges between countries, including Japan, play a very important role.

The Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee welcomed and supported exchange activities between students of Viet Nam and Japan, helping students of the two countries study and exchange experiences. At the same time, he believed and expected the future of the elite young generation to jointly build and develop the locality and country; raise the country's position in the international market.

Professor Akinori Seki thanked Binh Duong provincial leaders for taking the time to welcome the delegation. The professor highly appreciated the role of training high-quality human resources to meet social needs as well as the smart university model; in particular, paying special attention to enterprise connection activities and international cooperation to create a dynamic learning and working environment that keeps up with trends for students and the community. At the same time, he also emphasized the importance of exchange activities between students of Viet Nam and Japan during the past time and the directions in the future.

Provincial leaders present souvenirs to students

Professor Akinori Seki said that, in the context of globalization, to create a generation of excellent students, there needs to be coordination between the two countries to build a better education system; as well as having a coordination mechanism between leaders, educators and good entrepreneurs. In addition, each student also needs to be aware of the importance of promoting exchanges between students of the two countries, thereby sharing and learning experiences and best practices, contributing to society in the future.
