At the meeting, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Nguyen Van Loi said that the province currently has 4,130 investment projects from 65 countries and territories with a total registered capital of more than 40 billion USD. In which, Japan ranked second with 346 projects and a total registered investment capital of 5 billion 909 million USD, accounting for 14.8% of the total foreign investment capital in the province.
Japanese enterprises are investing, operating very effectively and complying with the provisions of law as well as the requirements and policies of the province.
Binh Duong Province has actively cooperated with foreign partners to develop and implement the Binh Duong Smart City and Innovation Region Project, especially the Binh Duong Science and Technology Industrial Park Project with the vision of becoming the Innovation Center of the Southern Key Economic Region. At the same time, the province is actively implementing digital transformation to build a new ecosystem to promote development in the direction of the Industrial Revolution 4.0; deploy the construction of key traffic routes connecting the region, developing modern infrastructure.

The Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee said that Tokyu Corporation is currently a large and long-standing economic group of Japan, operating in many fields such as railways, transportation, etc. in which, the most prominent is urban development. Becamex Tokyu joint venture is a model of the cooperation of Japanese enterprises with Vietnamese enterprises in general and Binh Duong enterprises in particular.
The Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee wished that with the successful cooperation and development model of Becamex Tokyu in Binh Duong, the Corporation will continue to replicate to other localities throughout the country; and believed that with the Tokyu Corporation's experience and capacity, there will be more projects contributing to the development of the province. Binh Duong will create all favorable conditions for Japanese enterprises in general and Tokyu Corporation in particular to deploy effective projects in the coming time.
