At the reception, Mr. Andrew Farrelly informed that CTS is a customs and trade consulting company based in Washington DC, U.S., specializing in providing technical support and capacity building services to modernize customs, facilitate trade, Logistics solutions, port management and development of free trade areas, also known as non-tariff areas.
Overview of the reception
Through research, CTS found that Binh Duong province has a convenient transportation system, connecting to Cai Mep - Thi Vai port, Cat Lai port, Tan Son Nhat airport and Long Thanh airport in the future; main highway linking the Southern Economic Region and neighboring countries such as Thailand and Cambodia. Along with that, the province has also set the goal of becoming a sustainable and smart economic center of the Southeast region in order to create stable jobs for the people and attract investment capital from abroad.

Therefore, Binh Duong province has all the conditions to form free trade areas and CTS is looking forward to cooperating with the province on the planning, establishment and development of this area to be export-oriented, create jobs, support the local supply chain and combine calling for foreign investment.

Permanent Vice Chairman of the PPC Mai Hung Dung emphasized that Binh Duong always pays attention to and focuses on solutions to attract investment and develop industry and services. Currently, the province is also continuing to implement synchronous solutions to promote the development of Logistics. The Permanent Vice Chairman of the PPC welcomed the proposals of CTS. However, this issue requires a large, capable, and dynamic unit or enterprise to jointly implement it.
