Informing about the project at the ceremony, Mr. Tran Hung Viet - Deputy Director of the Provincial Transportation Works Construction Investment Project Management Board said that the Construction investment project of Ho Chi Minh City's Ring Road No. 3 passes through Ho Chi Minh City and the provinces of Binh Duong, Long An and Dong Nai. In particular, the section through Binh Duong province has a total length of 26.6 kilometers passing through Di An, Thuan An and Thu Dau Mot cities. Specifically, the section of Tan Van intersection is 2,393 kilometers long; the Binh Chuan - Saigon River section is 8.9 kilometers long; the section coinciding with My Phuoc - Tan Van road is 15.3 kilometers long. The project is divided into 02 component projects, including: Component 5 project (construction of Ring Road No. 3, section through Binh Duong province including Tan Van intersection and Binh Goi bridge) has a total investment of 5,752 billion VND and component 6 project (compensation, support and resettlement) with a total investment of 13,527.82 billion VND.

Component 5 project is divided into 04 bidding packages. Package 01: Tan Van intersection Km25+990-Km28+383, total length of 2,393 kilometers; Package 02: Binh Chuan intersection Km43+680-Km45+000, total length of 1.32 kilometers; Package 03: Section from Binh Chuan to Saigon River Km45+000- Km51+280, total length of 6.28 kilometers; Package 04: Binh Goi Bridge, the section from Km51+280-Km52+580, total length of 1.3 kilometers.
Perspective of Binh Chuan intersection on Ho Chi Minh City's Ring Road No. 3
Up to now, the work of bidding and selecting contractors has been basically completed according to the regulations for package 02 - Binh Chuan intersection to organize the groundbreaking. Binh Chuan intersection has a total investment capital of 571,125 billion VND; scale of 08 expressway lanes, speed of 100 kilometers per hour; parallel roads on both sides of 02 - 03 lanes, urban road level of 60 kilometers per hour.
Speaking at the ceremony, on behalf of the provincial leaders, Permanent Vice Chairman of the PPC Mai Hung Dung highly appreciated the efforts of the Provincial Transportation Works Construction Investment Project Management Board (investor) and departments, branches, mass organizations and localities of Binh Duong province for focusing on solving difficulties and problems, completing the prescribed procedures to promptly organize the groundbreaking of construction under the Government and the Prime Minister's direction.

Permanent Vice Chairman of the PPC also thanked the people, organizations and enterprises affected by the project for agreeing and supporting the State's policy in site clearance. In order to successfully implement the project and contribute to the disbursement of the public investment plan in 2023 and the following years, the Permanent Vice Chairman of the PPC suggested the investor work with the construction contractor, supervision consultant to immediately implement synchronous construction solutions, ensuring progress and quality; urgently complete the prescribed procedures to break ground for the construction of the remaining bidding packages of the component 5 project no later than September 2023.

Departments and branches continue to work and coordinate with investor and specialized agencies of Ho Chi Minh City, Dong Nai and Long An provinces to implement the contents under their assigned competence and responsibilities to ensure that component projects in the province are implemented synchronously and effectively. The authorities, mass organizations of Di An, Thu Dau Mot and Thuan An cities continue to make efforts, try to accelerate the compensation, support and resettlement to complete the the project's site clearance in the province in 2023 and ensure to handover at least 70% of the ground for the bidding packages when the ground-breaking is held.
