The meeting approved the Proposal and draft Resolution stipulating expenditure content and level for textbook selection in general education institutions in Binh Duong province. Specifically, for the proposed textbook selection in general education institutions; spending on supporting teachers of specialized groups to research, discuss, evaluate and propose textbook selection according to the provisions of Point a, Clause 1, Article 8 of Circular No. 25/2020/TT-BGDDT dated August 26, 2020 of the Minister of Education and Training stipulating the textbook selection in general education institutions: 100,000 VND/person/day/subject (the number of working days is decided by the Principal but not more than 03 days/class/person/subject).
Spending on organizing a meeting at the general education institutions to discuss, evaluate and propose the textbook selection according to the provisions of Point b, Clause 1, Article 8 of Circular No. 25/2020/TT-BGDDT: Drinking water fee: 20,000 VND/person/session (half a day); Remuneration for meeting delegates: 100,000 VND/person/day.
For the Provincial Textbook Selection Council: Spending on researching, commenting, and evaluating textbooks according to selection criteria: 13,000 VND/class/person/subject (not multiplied by the number of textbooks to read).
Spending on official meetings related to the assignment of tasks, discussion, evaluation, and voting on textbook selection: Drinking water fee: 20,000 VND/person/session (half a day); support for Council members: Chairman of the Council 180,000 VND/person/session; Vice Chairman, Member, Secretary of the Council 135,000 VND/person/session, etc.

The meeting also considered and commented on the following contents: Report on the situation and results of the implementation of the public investment plan in the first 6 months of the year, key solutions for implementation in the last 6 months of 2023; Proposals and draft resolutions on: Amending and supplementing Article 3 of Resolution No. 06/2020/NQ-HDND dated December 10, 2020 of the People's Council on principles, criteria and norms for the allocation of public investment capital from the provincial budget for the 2021 - 2025 period; Public investment adjustment plan in 2023 (2nd time); adjusting the medium-term public investment plan for the 2021 - 2025 period (3rd time); projected public investment plan in 2024; adjusting investment policies for a number of public investment projects; amending and supplementing a number of articles of the regulations on policies to attract, support training and fostering to improve the quality of human resources in Binh Duong province promulgated together with Resolution No. 05/2019/NQ-HDND July 31, 2019; etc.

Concluding the meeting, the PPC Chairman Vo Van Minh highly agreed with the proposals and draft resolutions. He asked departments and branches to continue to coordinate and complete all contents to submit to the Regular meeting of the Provincial People's Council in the middle of the year.
Regarding public investment, he said that in the last 6 months of the year, disbursed public investment capital will be high and expected to complete the set plan in 2023; and requested the Department of Planning and Investment to completely update the public investment report for the first 6 months of the year and tasks for the last 6 months of 2023. For the Proposals and draft Resolutions on the Public Investment Adjustment Plan in 2023 (2nd time); adjusting the medium-term public investment plan for the 2021 - 2025 period (3rd time); projected public investment plan in 2024; adjusting the investment policy of a number of public investment projects are important issues next week, the PPC will continue to discuss before consulting the Standing Committee of Provincial Party Committee, etc.
