With the characteristics of the current socio-economic development situation, the FPF is facing many difficulties and complications, especially in areas where industrial parks and residential areas are developed. In order to ensure the FPF and Rescue, all levels and branches have implemented many solutions, bringing positive results.
Overview of the conference
According to the report, in 2022 and the first quarter of 2023, there were 20 fires in the province (down 4 cases compared to the same period in 2022 and 3 cases compared to the first quarter of 2022), killing 32 people, injuring 22 people and causing property damage estimated at 51.9 billion VND. Organizing Rescue of 15 incidents and accidents (up 4 cases over the same period), saving 4 lives. In the management and implementation of policies and laws on FPF and Rescue, completing inspection and guidance for 159/159 establishments, achieving 100% of the requirements and tasks as planned by the PPC; completing the formulation of the master planning on the grassroots system of the FPF and Rescue force in the province in association with the planning of FPF infrastructure in the 2021 – 2030 period, with a vision to 2050.Directing all levels, branches and localities to develop plans to focus on strictly and decisively handling violations that fail to appraise, approve the design, and accept FPF safety, but put the works into operation and strengthening the handling of temporary suspension and suspension of operations for establishments at risk of fire and explosion.
FPF and Rescue Police force inspects and guides business establishments to ensure FPF safety
The whole province has built 85 "Public Fire Fighting Points" and 73 "Fire Safety Inter-Groups"; organized training on FPF and Rescue safety skills for 225,430 households; propagandized and mobilized 62,235 households to equip themselves with fire extinguishers. Inspecting 306/306 karaoke business establishments, discos, bars and handling administrative violations with the amount of 1.1 billion VND; temporarily suspending 75 cases, suspending 57 establishments for serious violations of FPF safety. Successfully organizing rehearsals for 03 plans to prevent and respond to environmental incidents caused by fire and explosion and 01 plan for rescue.

At the conference, the departments, branches and localities discussed and made recommendations related to the management and licensing of various types of business and commercial establishments; the review of establishments trading and storing chemicals at risk of fire and explosion in residential areas, places where many people gather; building, consolidating and promoting the effective management of the civil defense force; the leadership, directing the construction and maintenance of operations for FPF models; inspecting and handling strictly and completely the establishments that do not appraise, approve and accept the FPF safety but put the works into operation; etc.

Speaking at the conclusion of the conference, Permanent Vice Chairman of the PPC Mai Hung Dung suggested that departments, branches and localities urgently make reports on summarizing the implementation of the Law on FPF 2001, the Law amending and supplementing a number of articles of the Law on FPF 2013 in accordance with regulations. At the same time, he asked the units to stick to the plans on FPF issued by the Prime Minister and the province so that the FPF is guaranteed and increasingly more effective.
