At the visit and meeting, leaders of VSIP Group gave a brief introduction to the Government delegation about the process of formation and development of VSIP Group. Accordingly, VSIP Group is a joint venture between Investment and Industrial Development Corporation (Becamex IDC Corp) (Vietnam) and a consortium of Singaporean investors led by Sembcorp Development LTD (Singapore). Formed in 1996, VSIP Group is a leading brand in Vietnam's industrial real estate industry with a chain of 13 industrial, urban and service zones in 09 provinces and cities of Vietnam, with a scale of over 10,362 hectares. VSIP is providing production infrastructure for 882 customers from 30 countries and territories, with a total investment of 18 billion USD, creating jobs for 288,300 domestic and foreign workers.

Speaking at the meeting, Deputy Prime Minister Le Minh Khai highly appreciated VSIP's achievements in Vietnam in general and Binh Duong province in particular. At the same time, he wished that VSIP would continue to replicate the model industrial park model to other localities to contribute to the development of the localities.
Thank you to the leaders of the Government, Ministries and branches for creating all conditions for VSIP to deploy the industrial park model in Vietnam in general and Binh Duong province in particular, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Nguyen Van Loi hoped that, in the coming time, VSIP will continue to research and replicate the model to localities, contributing to the socio-economic development of Vietnam in general.

Also in the morning of the same day, the signing ceremony of a Memorandum of Understanding between VSIP Group and leaders of 09 provinces in Vietnam took place, including: Binh Phuoc, Tay Ninh and Binh Thuan, Khanh Hoa, Thua Thien - Hue, Ha Tinh, Thanh Hoa, Thai Binh, Nam Dinh. Accordingly, VSIP Group and provinces will conduct feasibility studies for industrial parks, urban centers and services. The cooperation aims to promote the socio-economic development of these provinces through the production of high-value products, job creation and the development of new urban areas to support the community's quality of life.
