Overview of the meeting
In the first two months of 2023, the socio-economic situation in Di An city had a stable and comprehensive development. Total retail sales of goods and services were estimated at 18,332 billion VND, equaling 9.97% of the year plan. Industrial production value was estimated at 21,931 billion VND, equaling 15.6% of the year plan. Estimated disbursement of public investment capital reached 20.24% of the assigned plan. The city also performed well in taking care of beneficiaries under preferential treatment policy on the occasion of the Lunar New Year of the Cat 2023. The work of building the Party and the political system achieved outstanding results.
However, besides the achieved results, the city also faced difficulties in allocating capital sources for urban embellishment, the land fund for resettlement projects was limited; lack of capital to pay for clearance compensation, deployment of key projects in the province, etc.

Concluding the meeting, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Nguyen Van Loi suggested that Di An city review all lanes and alleys in the area that have not yet built roads and install lights to arrange capital for implementation from now to 2025; focus on urban embellishment, develop urban development policies, and attract investment in the fields of health and education; and invest in synchronous transport infrastructure. Continuing to propagate and mobilize people to support the province's policies for socio-economic development; allocating capital for key projects, especially the capital source for clearance compensation; mobilizing the entire political system to deploy key projects; continuing to listen to the people and enterprises' opinions to create all conditions for enterprises to restructure production and stabilize life.
