Accordingly, the two sides signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) on the event "Automation World Vietnam 2023", an exhibition in the field of smart factory and industrial automation representing Asia, with the largest scale ever (gathering 500 exhibitors and 2,000 participating booths).
This MOU is aimed at promoting innovation, cooperation in development and expansion of exchange programs in related industries between Vietnam and Korea, including conferences, commercial events and seminars. In addition, WTC BDNC and Coex have agreed to cooperate in organizing the program "Automation World Vietnam 2023" (tentative name) at WTC Binh Duong New City EXPO (WTC EXPO) in September 2024.

The signing of the strategic cooperation agreement marks an important milestone in the development of the manufacturing industry in Vietnam, contributing to the enhancement of technological capacity for the manufacturing industry and enhancing competition in the international market. WTC BDNC is committed to well implementing agreements in cooperation with international partners to increase innovation and encourage growth in the manufacturing industry in Vietnam.

Binh Duong province, where the headquarters of WTC BDNC is located, is one of the provinces and cities in the Southern Key Economic Region of Vietnam. Up to now, the province has attracted foreign investment with more than 4,000 FDI projects worth nearly 40 billion USD. Binh Duong is also the locality with the highest monthly income per capita in Vietnam, creating an attractive location for enterprises. With 29 large-scale industrial parks in operation, the province has an ideal industrial ecosystem to support the implementation of the agreements in this MOU.
